It is in our best interest to empower child care workers at all levels and to assist them through the necessary training to become passionate, professional and competent. Getting funding for training and Resource Centre is getting very, very difficult for the NGO sector because of a number of different challenges. Besides all the related problems the child, who need our care and support is still out there! Funding proposals have been sent out to donors but few responses were received. The donors gave us half the amount we requested and expect us to implement the full programme. They guide our company in our quest to achieve our two goals: to achieve top financial performance and make Khanimamba Training Institute Mondelēz a great place to work. KTRC Special Projects department will be implemented to ensure the growth and sustainability of KTRC and for job creation amongst the communities where they will be implemented. The following undertakings are currently under consideration as special projects. This department has been added to the current KTRC structure to handle special projects and development that will ensure the growth and sustainability of the organisation. The developmental initiatives are going to have contracted personnel as and when development work would have to be done.
